Eric Passman
Coach Eric Passman has been coaching baseball for 45 years. Coach Passman has lead numerous teams to County Finals and other championship series for years. Coach Passman coached High School Baseball in Queens, and was an extremely successful coach in the Bellmore Merrick School district for 18 years, as he was the Varsity Head Baseball Coach For John F. Kennedy High School in Bellmore. Eric also spent many years coaching and playing for the NYPD Baseball Team. Coach Passman has now been coaching baseball at Mepham High School for the last two seasons, and is current the Head Baseball Coach at Mepham High School.
James Demsky
Coach James Demsky has been a part of the NBNM Baseball community since the age of 5 years old. He then went on to play for Mepham High School under great long time Varsity Head Baseball Coach Bill Murphy. James was an All-County Varsity player, earning The Mepham Varsity Mike Stebbe Scholarship Award as a senior, along with the Ambrose Moran Award. Coach Demsky played 3rd base and shortstop at Queens College. After his years playing baseball at Queens College James went on to coach for summer baseball programs like the Long Island Athletics. In 2016, James was a Volunteer Assistant for the Mepham Varsity Baseball Team. In 2017 James was the Junior Varsity Head Baseball Coach at Sanford H. Calhoun High School. The 2018 Season will be James' first season as the Mepham Varsity Assistant coaching alongside the great Eric Passman and Pat Mancini.
Pat Mancini
Coach Mancini is a graduate of Valley Stream North High School, were he lettered in baseball, football and basketball. In his junior year of high school, Mancini was an All Long Island Football recipient as a safety. Following high school, coach Mancini attended Boston University on a full athletic scholarship and was a 4 year starting quarterback. He began his coaching career at Valley Stream North High School in 1994, where he coached varsity football and JV basketball until 2000. Mancini coached intramural and travel baseball in the Merrick community for a period of 15 years for the Merrick Blue Demons. He is currently an assistant varsity football coach at Mepham High School and helped lead the team this past fall to their first county championship game in over 25 years.
